Triage Nurse, Student Health Services
Under the general direction of the Director of Nursing and the Directors of Primary Care, the triage nurse is responsible for identifying the nature and urgency of healthcare issues and determining an appropriate disposition for Boston University students and Boston University Academy students. The triage nurse will also provide immunizations, PPDs, and medication injections for Boston University students. In addition, the triage nurse will work closely with the Patient Services Coordinators to provide clinical support and escalate concerns to nurse practitioners and physicians when necessary.
Current Massachusetts RN licensure, CPR certification and training, Bachelors Degree Required, Masters Degree Preferred with three to five years of experience. Experience in acute care highly desired. Previous experience in a college health setting preferred.
