Human Resources Associate-Employee Wellness
Provides a variety of specialized and responsible clerical and technical services in support of division operations. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited the following: responsibility for administratively supporting in the areas of compensation, benefits, employment, handling personnel forms and confidential information. Handles all personnel-related inquiries. May compile statistics for management's use. May handle paper flow for periodic reviews. May conduct new employee orientation, perform front line review of employment application, manage employee databases and generate reports from databases. Maintains and supports departmental goal of providing excellent customer service to all.
This position will provide clerical and technical support to the UAB Employee Wellness program. Duties will include: maintaining calendar/schedule, managing expense reimbursements, event planning, meeting coordination, office management, supply ordering and inventory control.
Hourly Pay Rate: $13.49 - $16.00
Associate's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Computer skills to include Oracle (HR and Finance), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Survey Monkey, TouchNet, and pick-A-time are desirable.
