Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Creative Writing (0.5 FTE) in the Department of English.

The successful candidate will join a team of prize-winning writers in the department, including seven Fellows of the Royal Society of Literature.

You will have a national profile as an author and a good publication record, and experience of teaching. You will have demonstrated the ability to work with others in teaching and/or administration.

Candidates will be expected to provide teaching in creative writing at BA level, with an emphasis on either fiction or poetry. The appointee will be expected to publish and to teach in the area; to foster the work of students seeking publication; and to supervise research students in creative writing.

This is a part time and permanent post, available from September 2019. This post will be partly based at the College’s main site at Egham, where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London, but may also involve MA teaching at the College’s central London building in Bedford Square WC1.
