King’s Health Partners have launched an Institute of Women & Children’s Health to drive outstanding research and education in the field.  The Institute sits within the School of Life Course Sciences in the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London and is hosted within KHP by Evelina London at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, maintaining strong links with all KHP NHS Trusts, Clinical Academic Groups and Institutes. 

The post of Operations Assistant is tasked with providing excellent administrative support to the new Institute of Women and Children’s Health and Departments of Women and Children’s Health. This will include supporting the Professor of Child Health and working closely with the School’s core professional services team to support research grant applications, post-award support, local staff and student recruitment campaigns, processing of claims and invoices.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management and organisation of the Professor of Child Health’s activities and business. This will include acting as the main point of contact for the Professor of Child Health’s diary management, organising and supporting meetings. The post holder needs to have  a  proactive solutions-focused approach  and  possess  exceptional  organisational,  prioritisation  and communication skills with the ability to use their own initiative to manage complex tasks and diary arrangements. The post holder is expected to be confident in working independently and with ambiguity, as well as being a strong team player. Strong analytical and numerical skills would also be advantageous.

This post will be offered on an indefinite basis.

This is a full-time post.
