Performs general ledger review, financial reporting and account analysis; assists in preparation of month end financial close documentation, including reconciliations, journal entries and financial statements. Prepares and reviews client billings; assists customers with billing inquiries; accepts payments in person and over the phone; collection of delinquent accounts; research accounts as requested; and assists with maintaining an organized records retention filing system. The nature of the work performed in this position requires a strong attention to detail, as well as, excellent communication and customer service skills.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and 1 to 2 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Business Objects, and Oracle preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is necessary. Familiarity with University accounting systems a plus.
