Administrative Specialist III
Summary of Job Duties
The Administrative Specialist III will provide administrative support for the Dean’s Office and for the International Programs Office (IPO) for Bumpers College. Duties for this position will include collecting and entering monthly leave for appointed employees, entering time for hourly workers, preparing and processing travel reimbursements for Dean’s Office staff, processing T-card (travel card), processing travel authorizations and travel claim transactions through BASIS, forwarding receipts and forms to the Travel Office to ensure timely travel claim and T-card payments, processing P-card (purchasing card), OfficeMax and requisitions through BASIS, and processing requisitions through Razor Buy. This position will also assist with the coordinating of special events including the Faculty Recognition Reception, Honors and Awards Banquet, and Commencement. For the International Programs Office, the Administrative Specialist III will develop, revise, and recommend administrative policies and procedures as directed by the International Programs Director. Other duties for this position include serving as the Secretary for the Bumpers College Faculty Council.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others and working one-on-one with students.
