Research Fellow - Biological Sciences
The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof GE Ruowen on a project studying a novel inflammation suppressor protein and its biomedical translation in human diseases.

The RF will be responsible to carry out independent experimental research under the PI’s supervision. He/She needs to design experiments, carry out experiments and analyze data obtained and present the data to the PI and other lab members and write up the first draft of manuscripts for publication in peer reviewed journals. He/She also needs to work closely with our scientific collaborators and communicate research progress on regular basis. The RF will also need to help the PI to mentor junior graduate students or undergraduate students pursuing research in the lab.
- Qualifications / Discipline:
PhD in molecular cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, molecular genetics or other related biomedical sciences.
Any combination of the following: Cell culture based molecular cell biology study, cell signaling, mechanism investigation, imaging and microscopy, tissue analysis by immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescent staining, flow cytometry, mouse breeding and maintenance, recombinant protein expression and purification or immunology are required.
PhD in the related area. Prior postdoctoral experiences a plus, but not more than 5 years. Previous first author publication(s) in reputable international peer reviewed journals a must.
