Job Description

The Position will work on an NIH-funded study that aims to help parents improve the oral health of their children, including changing their diet and seeking dental care. Under the supervision of the Project Manager and Prinicipal Investigators (PI) the position will involve participant recruitment from community health clinics, conducting participant interviews and assessments, and assisting with the randomized clinical trial (recruitment, assessments, data entry/management). Responsibilities also include assisting with software related use within REDCap, administering questionnaires and data collection (qualitative and quantitative), performing administrative tasks, assisting in preparation of data and reports. The position will gather sensitive participant enrollment and consent forms, data entry and management, team meetings, and other research related tasks.

Required Skills

  • Fluent computer skills (word, excel, powerpoint).
  • Preferably fluent in English and Spanish languages.
  • Some early evening and Saturday hours may be necessary.
  • The position also requires 1 year experience in human subjects research, strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, the capacity to work with a team and engage in a professional manner with participants.

Assoc/Voc/Technical degree required. Bachelor's preferred.
