The Department of Student & Academic Administration (DSAA) is a core professional service of the University, responsible for a diverse and wide-ranging set of critical responsibilities and services across the institution.  These include: student and course management systems, timetabling, UK/EU and international admissions, student and programme administration, academic administration, graduation, external returns and data standards, UKVI student compliance, academic standards, quality management, and partnerships. 

This is an exciting time to be joining the Department, and the Academic Registrar and Director is seeking an outstanding candidate to join the Department’s Executive Team, being responsible for our Systems (SITS:Vision student system; SalesForce CRM) and Reporting (External Returns; Business Intelligence; Learner Analytics). 

Under the direction of the Academic Registrar and Director, the Head of Systems: Student System, CRM, & Reporting manages and provides strategic leadership to the ‘Systems: Student System, CRM, & Reporting’ Section of the DSAA, ensuring they achieve their objectives in order to support the Department’s strategy, while providing an excellent customer and student experience.  They will act as the institutional expert and recognised authority on matters and issues within the University relating to their designated Section, and they will actively contribute to, and assist with, the strategic development of the DSAA. 

In the absence of the Academic Registrar and Director, the post holder (alongside the three other Section Heads) will act as their Deputy.  

The ‘Systems: Student System, CRM, & Reporting’ Section of the DSAA includes the following work areas: i) student system management, development, implementation and support; ii) CRM system management, development, implementation and support; iii) reporting; iv) learner analytics; v) business intelligence; vi) student-related external returns & data standards.
