Development of wearable electronics device used for elderly health care monitoring by employing multi sensor data fusion algorithm.

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DST Funded Project ( Sanction Order : DST / ICPS /CLUSTER /IOT /2018 /General, Gol, New Delhi) in School of Electronics Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore Campus

Qualification:

M.Tech / M.E. (Applied Electronics / Embedded systems / Sensor Systems / Biomedical) with GATE / NET qualification (OR) B.Tech / B.E (Electronics Communication Engineering(ECE) / Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) with GATE / NET qualification.
Candidates not qualified in GATE/NET, having the desirable skills mentioned below may also apply and stipend will be according to Institute policies.

Desirable Skills:

Programming in C, C++, Python, knowledge in Sensor data fusion, Data analytics using Hadoop and Cloud.

Stipend : Rs.25,000 + 10% HRA (Per month)

Sponsoring Agency : Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi.

Duration : 2 Years

Principal Investigator : Dr.Elizabeth Rufus, Professor, School of Electronics Engineering.

Co-Principal Investigator: Dr. Zachariah C Alex, Senior Professor in School of Electronics Engineering and Director Sponsored Research).
