This position will lead the development of the new degree in Architectural Engineering and establish a vigorous research program that complements and enhances our research capability in sustainable buildings and Architectural Engineering.

The position will be required to supervise Honours and Higher Degree Research (Masters and PhD) students and contribute to School and Faculty level governance and administration. This role will teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas of Architecture and Building Construction with an emphasis on design for sustainability.

The School of Civil, Mining and Environmental Engineering, in collaboration with the Sustainable Buildings Research Centre is establishing a new Bachelor of Engineering degree in Architectural Engineering, commencing in 2020. This exciting new program seeks to prepare construction professionals for new roles in sustainable building design and Architectural Engineering.
