The Massey AgriFood Technology Partnership is committed to supporting New Zealand's export-driven growth base by extending biological systems knowledge with applications of emerging technologies, data analytics and robotics. Our expertise covers an agriculture, horticulture and a wide range of emerging engineering and data disciplines.

We are looking to add a GIS Analyst to our team in Palmerston North. The position is for a full-time, fixed-term for two years. You will be required to assist with commercially orientated research that combines hyperspectral data sets and associated field trials. You must have GIS project experience and knowledge and a level of proficiency in the following would be expected R, Python, MySQL, ENVI, ArcGIS and ArcPro. Experience of worklflow development framework/methodology. Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with external clients.

The successful applicant should be self-motivated and possess strong personal management and problem solving skills, have exceptional relationship management skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to contribute strongly to a team environment.

You will also be required to pass security checks, credit history checks and a qualifications validation check.
