The Clinical Research Coordinator A will be part of a team of research coordinators supporting the Penn Acute Research Collaboration (PARC) at the University of Pennsylvania. PARC was established to screen and enroll eligible subjects 24 hours per day, 7 days per week into time-sensitive acute clinical and translational research studies across a diverse range of disciplines (e.g. neuroscience, neurocritical care, emergency medicine, anesthesia, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, critical care, and nursing). The Clinical Research Coordinator A will primarily support a multi-site study focusing on posttraumatic neuropsychiatric sequelae through screening and consenting subjects; collecting and processing samples; conducting assessments; collecting and managing data; submitting and adhering to regulatory requirements; and corresponding with central and participating sites. In addition, the position will work closely with the PARC Project Manager, Laboratory Program Manager, Co-Directors, and Research Team to assist in other clinical trials, day-to-day operations, and other PARC activities.
Position is contingent on continued funding.
A Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year to 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Ability to multi-task, work independently and work as part of a team. Variable hours of duty (i.e., day, evening, and/or weekend hours) may be necessary.
