Program Manager, Advancement Leadership Lab
The Ohio State University, along with eight other large public universities, serves as an institutional member of the Advancement Leadership Forum (ALF) public cohort. ALF institutions gather regularly to exchange data and best practices, enhancing their respective institutions and advancing the Advancement profession. These universities have piloted a yearlong, cohort-based program across member institutions, called the Advancement Leadership Lab (ALL), to prepare experienced Advancement professional for senior leadership positions in higher education.
Ohio State is serving as the administrative institution to initiate the multi-institution pilot and is seeking an experienced and highly organized Program Manager to play an essential role in the ongoing development, management and evaluation of ALL.
This Program Manager role is a 2-year term position that reports to the Advancement Vice President for Strategy and Administration. The Program Manager provides essential support and management of ALL by executing responsibilities including, but not limited to, providing essential administrative support, consulting on program design and content delivery, overseeing the program’s day-to-day operations, ensuring program compliance, and monitoring the program’s progress toward established goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess program/project management experience, exceptional communication and organization skills, and a strong understanding of adult learning principles and leadership development. The majority of work is conducted during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and requires moderate overnight travel and/or remote work.
