We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher to work on an EU Horizon project, primarily in the area of cybersecurity. The ECHO (European network of Cybersecurity centres and competence Hub for innovation and Operations) project is one of four pilot projects, launched by the European Commission, to establish and operate a Cybersecurity Competence Network. The ECHO project will deliver an organized and coordinated approach to strengthen proactive cyber defence in the European Union through effective and efficient multi-sector collaboration.

Maynooth University's role in this project is to lead the work package on pilot demonstrations and participate in all other work packages, offering human factors, behavioural, and cyberpsychology expertise towards the development of cyber security solutions, and to evaluate from a human factors point of view the effectiveness of the systems in operational context.

Post-Doctoral Researcher Salary Scale: €37,222 - €43,029 per annum (6 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above scale.
