Head of Apprenticeship Compliance and Operations – Manchester Campus

Full time, Permanent
Salary – £45,000 per annum plus benefits 

We currently have the following vacancy within our Operations Team.  

You will be responsible for managing apprenticeship compliance in relation to the Education and Skills Funding Agency and other external bodies; and contractual relationships with apprentices and firms. You will also be responsible for establishing and managing efficient, high quality operational processes and services relating to apprenticeships; and for developing and leading the apprenticeship business professional team in providing an efficient and effective service to all clients. 

For this role you will need to have extensive experience of: working with apprenticeships, specifically in relation to funding rules and standards to ensure that systems and processes are fully compliant and that high-quality evidence is produced; managing apprenticeship contractual relationships with apprentices and firms; managing ILR returns to the ESFA and investigating complex data integrity issues; communicating with the ESFA on complex matters; and the admission/on-boarding process of apprentices. 

Your experience of working in an operational role should include providing a high level of professional customer service; developing and maintaining complex administrative systems; training and developing staff; developing good planning and processes, monitoring and managing budgets; managing change; management of Health and Safety compliance; and managing premises and facilities.
