Data Entry and Research Administration Assistant
Applications are sought for a data entry and research administration assistant to help with entering data and the collection of data for the Clinical Cohorts in neuro-oncology.
King’s College Hospital and King’s College London are collaborating to record key clinical data that is (1) essential for clinical services and (2) essential for robust research into the neuro-oncology patient pathway. The research will allow the components in the neuro-oncology patient pathway that influence morbidity, mortality, health economics and value-based healthcare the most, to be determined.
The postholder will be responsible for entering data collected during the study examination including patient demographic and clinical information, brain tumour type (pathology, molecular markers), and treatment (surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy) and follow-up information (particularly imaging). This will also include hospital discharge letters and other general administrative information provided by study participants. In addition, the postholder will be responsible for ensuring each participant has a complete set of key clinical data available and chasing up any missing information required for the study (e.g. hospital discharge letters) from participating hospitals. Some travel to hospitals in London may be required for this purpose.
