The University of London Worldwide is seeking to recruit three Academic Project Managers (2 x Open Ended and 1 x Fixed Term Maternity Cover) to join the Educational Innovation and Development (EID) directorate. This directorate is integral to the design and development of online and flexible programmes offered by the University of London, and the Academic Project Manager role will play an important part in managing the design, delivery and maintenance of a series of high- quality programmes.

The Role

The Educational Innovation and Development directorate is responsible for the design and development of a portfolio of online and flexible programmes offered internationally. The role will involve managing academic projects, including the design and development of new programmes and/or major re-developments of existing programmes. The role will involve liaison with key internal operational and quality teams and with senior academic and administrative personnel in the University of London member institutions and also the senior management team in the University of London Worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience of at least one major part of the student/programme lifecycle and experience of managing and communicating with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative environment. The post-holder will be educated to degree level or have equivalent work-based experience, have the ability to write succinct and clear committee reports and be focused on achieving results with drive and determination. Some experience of project management or involvement in a major project would be advantageous.
