We have considerably redeveloped our Mt. Albert Campus, with our central hub offering open environments merging with collaborative areas, library spaces and a range of eateries.
We are also refurbishing our Waitakere campus to support flexible, collaborative, technology-enabled learning and teaching.
We are recruiting 24 x newly created Academic Programme Manager positions to provide outstanding programme and people leadership at Unitec.
As an Academic Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of our Programmes, alongside leading and inspiring our staff and our students.
You will partner with and support, the relevant Head of School to drive excellence in learning, teaching and applied research.
To be successful in this position you will have academic leadership and management experience and the proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team. Your experience, insight and passion for academic quality and adherence to excellence will make a positive difference to Unitec.
You will need to hold academic and industry qualifications appropriate to the School, and in‐depth knowledge of the relevant industry sector, along with a proven ability to enable industry and professional partnerships to flourish.
We are also looking for you to demonstrate evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive and equitable workplaces/environments, and an understanding (or desire to learn) Te Reo Māori, Tikanga Māori and the values and practices of Kaupapa Māori.
