Job Description

The Research Technician will assist in behavioral and electrophysiological studies of adolescents with autism spectrum disorder. The RT will carry out assessments of research volunteers, conduct experiments, support a home-based intervention study, process and code behavioral, EEG and ERP data, enter data into RedCap database and carry out basic statistical analyses. Experience in assessment of individuals with ASD and other developmental disorders. The position requires a great deal of sensitivity and experience in working with families who have children on the autism spectrum. The research technician will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic assessments, standardized testing and electrophysiological testing of the participants and working with the individuals and their families with the home-based intervention. The research technician will also ensure quality control of the data collection and entry. In addition, they will maintain the database for the project and assist in the analyses of data. A Bachelors degree in psychology, neuroscience, or related field is required, along with strong organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills, experience working with people on the autism spectrum. Candidates with EEG and data processing experience and programming experience will be given highest priority. Experience working with children and adolescents including collecting eletrophysiological data. Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or related fields.
