The Department of Computer Science at Hofstra University ( invites applications for a non-tenure-track 1-year visiting faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin in Fall 2019. Strong candidates in all areas of computer science are welcome to apply.


Should be able and willing to teach the following courses: introductory programming, discrete structures, software engineering, algorithms and upper-level electives. Applicants are expected to have obtained a master’s in computer science or a closely related field. Industrial experience strongly preferred.
