The core function of our Estates Team is to use our resources efficiently and effectively in the management and maintenance of our exceptional built and external environments. We aim to be visionary in the development of high quality buildings, spaces and facilities which are accessible, safe, innovative dynamic and inspirational.
We are looking for an experienced construction or facilities professional to join our team. You will be required to plan, specify, tender and supervise small estates projects, utilising your construction knowledge to enhance the safety, accessibility and condition of the estate. You will also administer the University's CAD drawing records, and will have a strong track record in using AutoCad at a professional level as well as (preferably) Revit and rendering software as part of a developing BIM implementation in order to be the central point of contact for all drawing related issues.
As part of a multi skilled team you may also be required to assist other members of the team in relation to administering service contracts with external providers or in compliance related issues.
Required skills and experience
The successful candidate must:
- hold a relevant qualification or equivalent experience;
- have the ability, knowledge and aptitude to manage small estates projects from design to completion;
- be able to demonstrate a professional level of CAD competency;
