Position Summary    

The part-time faculty will participate in research projects under the Pediatric Pulmonary Center (PPC). The right individual for this position will be an educator for the PPC trainees.

Position is expected to last until 12/31/2019.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Educate faculty and students in using screening tools to identify candidates for pharmacotherapy vs. behavioral therapy/counseling.
• Supervise graduate students, interns or post-doctoral fellows .
• Present educational talks to trainees, faculty and the community.
• Educate referral centers about mental health in Cystic Fibrosis.
• Coordinate screening and referral of patients who screen positive on depression/anxiety.
• Assist to expand mental health referral network in Arizona.
• Participate in PPC activities, community outreach, and training.

Minimum Qualifications 

• PhD in Clinical Psychology

Preferred Qualifications    

• Supervisory experience with graduate students.
• Experience in presenting to faculty, students, and within the community.
