The School of Art, Design and Performance at Bucks is a vibrant, multi-disciplinary School dedicated to providing high quality creative education and preparing students for successful future employment. Offering a broad range of courses in art and design, dance and performing arts, as well as Engineering, we are passionate about our specialist subjects and developing exciting learning opportunities through our industry relationships.

We are seeking an Associate Head of School to play a key leadership role within the School. The appointee will combine strong academic leadership and management with an awareness of the commercial environment within which higher education operates. They will have a profile of contributing high quality expertise in teaching and learning in one or more of the subject areas in development within the School: Construction Engineering, Architectural Technology or Design practice/theory. Experience of delivering apprenticeships will be advantageous. The post holder will actively contribute to the School’s strategic direction and combine this with a strong emphasis on operational delivery. They will need to be an effective team player, able to engage with students and staff, and secure their full contribution to and support of the School’s objectives.
