Administrative Coordinator, Research Compliance, Institutional Review Board
The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support to institutional investigators, the IRB Director and the IRB staff. This position serves as a direct link between the Institutional Review Board) (IRB) and investigators and assists the Director and the IRB staff in ensuring productivity and timely processing of IRB protocols. The Coordinator works with the Director and other IRB staff to develop processes. The Coordinator must be knowledgeable about the IRB's requirements to ensure that submissions are complete. The Coordinator triages protocols to the Analysts by assignment and triages events and problems to the IRB Director. The Coordinator should have basic knowledge about federal regulations in order to ensure that submissions are complete and triaged appropriately.
HS diploma required, B.A./B.S. preferred, must have excellent customer assistance and communication skills and one to three years of experience, preferably in a research environment.
