This is an exciting new initiative with Professor Hayday within the School of Immunology & Microbial Sciences. The post holder is a member of the professional services team, providing high quality general administrative support to the School of Immunology & Microbial Sciences and providing day-to-day high level administrative support for Professor Hayday, GRIID Clinical Academic Group and King's Health Partners. This encompasses diary management, complex travel arrangements, financial matters, such as purchase orders, expenses, invoices and providing budget reports as requested by colleagues. They will also respond to all incoming communications in a professional manner and ensure that all key contact enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively, seeking answers and resolving matters personally where appropriate.
The post holder will project manage events and new initiatives for the areas that Professor Hayday is involved in. Supporting Professor Hayday at internal and external corporate events as necessary, attending and promoting where appropriate. They will prepare and support meetings, boards, and committees, including the coordination and distribution of papers and taking notes or minutes, as required. This is a varied busy role suitable for an individual who is professional, well-executed and timely, is compliant with university policies and adopts best practice.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 20 months.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment, a test.
Grade and Salary : Grade 5, £31,883 to £36,422 per annum, inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance.
