The HR Administrator will provide support for two Personnel Generalists in the SOM/HSF HR Shared Services pod. This position will be responsible for HR transactional activities in support of HR Shared Services. The incumbent will handle the day-to-day HR processing of documents in Oracle, RMS, Compensation Request Forms (CRF), etc. and will support the daily operations of the HR Shared Services pod. Will have solid knowledge of UAB, HSF, School of Medicine policies, processes, guidelines, and systems required for HR operations.

To administer human resources related programs and projects for faculty, staff and trainees within an assigned college/school/department/division/center/institute in coordination with the Office of Human Resources.To serve as the liaison to the Office of Human Resources and/or the Dean's office for most human resources related matters.To coordinate departmental human resources actions and ensure proper processing of paperwork. May represent the college/school/department/division/center/institute leadership in working groups and committees at UAB HR and/or UAB Medicine.

Provides day-to-day administrative support for HR Shared Services pod. Incumbent will process faculty, staff, student, Postdoctoral fellow HR documents in various systems and on various forms including, but not limited to, Oracle, RMS, CRF, PAF. Will also assist with preparing documents related to International hires.Prepares reports, letters, and HR job related documents in support of the HR shared Services Personnel Generalists. Provides information / responds to HR policy and procedure questions on behalf of HR Shared Services.

Hourly Pay Range: $16.48 -$25.93

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Currently certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) preferred.
