The Engineer I position will work under the supervision of a senior engineer, develops viable system and component concepts and designs based on project requirements and specifications by applying the concepts associated with engineering. Produces the associated drawing for use in fabrication of hardware and review engineering design concepts for adherence to technical specification. Other duties include supporting the preparation of technical documents and provide support in the assembly, test, and checkout of hardware systems.
Other Duties Include:
Designs, Analyses, and develops viable system and component for use onboard NASA’s International Space Station (ISS).
Develops structural analysis models using the Finite Element Methods (FEM) and prepares the structural analysis report to meet NASA requirements.
Produce the associated drawings for use in fabrication of hardware and review engineering design concepts for adherence to NASA specification
Annual Salary Range: $52,228.8 - $82,867.2
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. None required.
