Job description

The School of Mathematics and Physics at Queen's University Belfast seeks to make a temporary appointment at lecturer level in the area of Laboratory Astrophysics. This post is available from 1 September 2019,or a date to be agreed, for a period of 22 months in the first instance.

The lecturer will be expected to contribute to the research and teaching activities of the School. Applicants must have a PhD in experimental laser-produced plasma physics. Also essential is a record of high quality research publications,commensurate with stage of career, and experience and expertise in the use of major high-powered laser facilities to generate photoionised plasmas. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of ability to teach Physics modules at all levels through the medium of English.
