Applications are invited for a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Mathematics post within UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics. 

University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Mathematics in the UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics. Preference may be given to applicants whose research is in the area of algebra or analysis. 

UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is committed to research and teaching across the mathematical sciences, including mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and actuarial science. 

The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research in Mathematics, including supervision of research students and projects, and to contribute to the School’s wide-ranging programme of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.  

95 Lecturer / Assistant Professor (below the bar) Salary Scale: €33,479 - €58,760 per annum. 

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
