The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, announces a competition for the fulltime position of the Assistant or Assistant professor of the Department of International and European Law to cover for maternity and parental leave - Field International Private Law

Requirements :

Assistant:

  • completed Master's degree in Law at the Faculty of Law,
  • advanced stage of doctoral studies in the field of International Private Law or field, which includes the issues of International Private Law, taking into consideration following: if the doctoral studies commenced before 1.1.2014 it is a condition for the position of an Assistant filling the application for the dissertation work (§ 47 odst. 4 zák. č. 111/1998 Sb.),
  • teaching capabilities and practical teaching experience
  • proven interest in the field of International Private Law
  • abilities to do scientific research independently
  • ability to lecture and publish in Czech and English languages
  • knowledge of another world language
  • publishing activities, presenting the three most impostant scientific publications (impacted periodicals are advantage)
  • active participation in Czech and international conferences is an advantage
  • teaching experience in seminars including various skills, especialy moot courts
  • membership in the industry relations important organisations in Czech or internationaly is an advantage
  • moral integrity

Assistant professor:

  • completed Master's degree in Law at the Faculty of Law,
  • the scientific rank of CSc., Dr., Ph.D., in the field of Law
  • interest in the field of International Private Law by verified  concrete results,
  • abilities to do scientific research independently,
  • ability to lecture and publish in Czech and English languages
  • knowledge of another world language
  • publishing activities in the field; presenting the three most important scientific publications, including the citations (citations index) impacted periodicals are advantage
  • experience in writing and obtaining scientific projects in Czech (eg. GAČR) or international framework (eg. ERC, Marie Curie, Visegrádský fond) is an advantage,
  • active participation in Czech and international conferences is an advantage,
  • teaching experience in seminars including various skills, especialy moot courts
  • membership in the industry relations important organisations in Czech or internationaly is an advantage
  • moral integrity.

The commencement on 1 September 2019 or by agreement.
