Why we need you
You will play a leading role in developing and shaping the theoretical direction of the work and its impact on theories of Quantum Computing. You will manage the research project's priorities and deliverables by carrying out software development (e.g. open source) and manuscript preparations. For the quantum roles we are particularly interested eexperience with Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) technology and quantum optimisation. We are also interested to develop a teaching subject in quantum software.
To be successful, you will be versatile and passionate about research, and will be ready to play an active part in the life of the School of Computing and Information Systems, which at times may involve opportunities for supervision of Master’s and PhD students and teaching. You will conduct independent research, leading to the preparation of teaching a subject and publication of research outcomes in conferences and journals.
