Level E - Professor

The Professor will lead and undertake research in the field of The Future of Work on behalf of the Australian Industrial Transformation Institute. The position will provide leadership and vision in setting the strategic research directions and goals for the area, expanding the research area through the attraction of external grant and contract income and establishing its reputation on an international scale in alignment with the strategic directions of the College and University.

The position will be responsible for engaging with industry, government and other external organisations, strengthening research collaborations internally and externally and supporting recruitment of international and domestic higher degree research students and research fellowships. In addition the position will be required to provide leadership and direction to staff and students in relation to research plans, the development of successful track records in strategic areas of research and the provision of feedback on individual grant applications and publications.

Level D - Associate Professor

The Associate Professor in The Future of Work will undertake research in the area of the future of work in the digital age as part of the Australian Industrial Transformation Institute in the College of Business, Government and Law. They will provide research leadership in the design and implementation of a major program of research on the implications of advanced technologies for employment and workplaces involving industry and government partners.

The position will provide leadership and vision under broad direction in one or more of the key areas of research of the College. Particular activities include setting the strategic research goals for the program, expanding the research program through the attraction of external grant and contract income, publishing quality journal articles and establishing its reputation on an international scale in alignment with the strategic directions of the College and University.

The Associate Professor will be responsible for strengthening research collaborations externally and internally, helping form research teams including within the college and play a key role in the recruitment and quality supervision of higher degree research students. In addition, the position will be required to provide mentoring, leadership and direction to staff and students in relation to research plans, developing successful research track records in strategic areas of research and providing feedback on individual grant applications and publications.
