The Senior Research Fellow in The Future of Work will undertake research in the area of the future of work in the digital age as part of the Australian Industrial Transformation Institute in the College of Business, Government and Law. They will contribute to a major program of research on the implications of advanced technologies for employment and workplaces involving industry and government partners.
The position will take a lead role under general to broad supervision in developing, managing and implementing research projects and in expanding the College’s research activities. These activities include the attraction of external grants and research contracts, delivering on strategic research objectives, establishing and maintaining industry and research partnerships, identifying commercially relevant outputs and building the University’s national and international reputation through high quality publications and strong research collaborations.
The Senior Research Fellow may coordinate and/or lead the activities of other staff, and/or undertake an active leadership role in research and/or creative activity including leadership of a research team. The Senior Research Fellow will actively supervise and mentor students in major Honours or postgraduate research projects.
