The Dean of the Faculty of Sports Studies, Masaryk University announces an open competition for the following academic position: Assistant or Assistant Professor at the Department of Sport Pedagogy FSpS MU focusing on teaching pedagogy

Expected starting date: September 2019. Full-time position.

Job requirements:

  • Master’s degree in pedagogy, or equivalent education (teacher education)
  • Completed or started a doctoral program in the field of Pedagogy or Kinanthropology
  • Pedagogical practice in the field minimum 5 years
  • Scientific research and publishing activities
  • Active knowledge of English (at B2 level)
  • Fluent Czech (spoken and written)
  • International scientific prestige (presentations of scientific results within international conferences or an article in an impacted or reviewed journal, etc.)

Description of the main activities:

  • Conducting seminars and exercises, or individual lectures in pedagogical subject
  • Supervision and opposition of master’s and bachelor’s diploma theses
  • Scientific research and publishing activities
  • Engaging in project activities

The salary range for the position is based on the Internal Salary Regulations for MU Academic Staff.
