Assists the Associate GM in managing three Event Services Departments (Guest Services, Parking & Security) at the Jerome Schottenstein Center; assists the Assistant AD in managing front-of-house operations for all athletic and special events in athletic facilities. Supervises FT Guest Services Staff Assistants. Directly responsible for the supervision of 1400+ part-time Guest Services employees (Guest Services, Redcoat and Usher employees); Coordinates the plan for recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating the part-time staff for all events in Jerome Schottenstein Center and athletic venues.

Assists Event Managers with event coverage and planning, preparation of event day reports and summary reports; Supervises department staff and guest experience elements by being onsite and interacting with staff, clients, and guests at most events to ensure that the highest standards of service are met. Coordination of reward and recognition programs for all Event Services part-time staff and assists with team member special events. Oversees payroll process for all event staff. Manages budget and purchasing for all Event Services departments, creation of summary reports, invoices and financial reports; Coordinates guest surveys, prepares summary reports, assists with guest recovery plan.

Serves as event manager at designated athletic and special events. Serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Team representing the department in strategic initiatives. Collaborates and communicates with numerous Business Advancement and Athletic Department areas and campus partners to ensure the successful presentation of events.

Assists in supervision of graduate assistants, students and interns. Attends meetings, conferences, and training sessions; Represents Business Advancement, Department of Athletics and the University by participating in University and Community projects. Performs other duties as assigned.
