Asst Dir-Univ Spec Events
Leads and manages Event Management professional staff members. Acts as primary event manager at assigned athletic events (acting as liaison for officials and visiting teams and supervising event staff, ushers, ticket takers, ball kids, public address announcer). Assists with the preparation of OSU athletic events, championships and tournaments and large stadium concerts or events. Collaborate and communicate with numerous athletic department areas and campus partners including athletic communications, fan experience, facility operations, video services, ticketing, parking and concessions to ensure the successful presentation of events & championships.
Assists with the preparation of bidding materials for NCAA, Big Ten and other conference tournaments and events. Attends weekly event meetings, Event Management staff meetings and work on other special projects and assignments as determined by supervisor.
