Hours: Either Full-time 36 hours per week or Part-time 18 hours per week (2.5 days per week - 0.5 FTE) 
Salary: Full time salary £23,334 per annum 
             Part-time salary £11,667 per annum 
Term: Fixed term to September 2020

This fixed term post can be filled by either a fulltime candidate, or part time (2.5 days per week), as the role spans both Faculties in the University. The Faculty of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences is an internationally recognised centre with established expertise and resources. The Faculty of Sport, Health and Applied Sciences is an established base for a number of specialised programmes and sector innovations. At both undergraduate and postgraduate level, we are committed to offering vocationally relevant programmes of study with the highest academic standards. 

We are looking for an experienced administrator with a passion to work in Higher Education; with proven administrative and organisation skills; a person who pays attention to detail, and has good time management, prioritising skills and the ability to communicate effectively and cheerfully with both students and staff. The successful candidate will use both current in house IT systems and SITS databases, be the first point of contact for student and staff queries regarding programmes, and work closely with Programme Directors and Heads of Department. 

As well as being able to manage and work closely with other Administrators and staff, the role requires decision making and a proactive mindset. The successful applicant will also be responsible for tasks the Faculty Business Manager and Programme Directors may wish to delegate at the time.
