Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Piano responsibilities for approximately 20 hours per week
  • Provide rehearsal, performance, teaching and coaching accompaniment for vocal and instrumental students at lessons, rehearsals, recitals, juries, recordings and presentations, plus collaboration with faculty and guest artists at recitals
  • Secondary teaching responsibilities only as needed by the Department of Music and candidate expertise
  • Participate in university, college, and departmental committees, service and recruiting activities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required doctorate preferred 
  • Successful experience in accompanying students and faculty musicians in variety of venues and events
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a variety of academic and community settings
  • Academic and professional characteristics consistent with the teaching and service missions of the University, College, and the Department of Music
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Interest in collaborative efforts and creative activity
