Director, Faculty Advancement, Inclusion
Reporting to the School of Medicine (SOM) Executive Associate Dean for Faculty Academic Achievement, Leadership and Inclusion (FAALI), oversees performance of and optimizes work duties/workload across FAALI. Works closely with the Executive Associate Dean (EAD), Associate Deans, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, and Chief Wellness Officer to support the strategic development and implementation of programs relevant to diversity and inclusion, leadership and faculty professional development. Participates in local, regional, and national professional societies as appropriate to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous innovation of the SOM activities and programs. Works with the EAD on the informational campaign to ensure broad knowledge of program offerings. Prepares presentations and reports of the impact of FAALI programs including working with FAALI staff and SOM data governance entities to ensure integrity of information. Evaluates the current state of SOM programs and gap areas. Works with the EAD and stakeholders to develop and project manage a three-year roadmap of FAALI goal priorities. Works with the EAD to oversee the FAALI budget and optimize the appropriate management of resources. Serves as a liaison to the SOM Communications Office to optimize website content; interactive resources for faculty, leaders, and staff; and toolkits. Performs related responsibilities as required.
Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences or a related field and six years of strategic planning, business operations or related experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Supervisory and higher education experience preferred.
