Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice/Clinical Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 495520), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal and with consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in pharmacy practice/clinical pharmacy or other relevant disciplines, with a strong track record of high quality research. Registered pharmacists with working experience in hospital and community pharmacy practice are preferred. Those with research interests that complement the departmental research strategy which focuses on big data research, health service research and pharmacoepidemiology are desirable. Applicants should also demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, and the capacity to contribute to the curriculum development of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.  Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
