The University of Lincoln, ranked 22nd in the 2018 Guardian University Guide, is seeking to appoint a Research Support Officer for the Research Environment Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the institutional submission to REF2021 and beyond. You will be part of a team shaping the research culture and strategy of an institution which puts excellent research with impact at the core of its activities.
The post holder will provide efficient and pro-active support for the collation, analysis and presentation of all elements of REF and will become the institutional expert user of the REF submission software. The post holder will also be expected to support team members with other streams of work related to the research environment.
Substantial experience of managing administrative processes, working independently and with minimal supervision, and experience of working with large data sets are essential. The right candidate should be a good communicator, have excellent organisational skills and be able to work to tight conflicting deadlines.
This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
