The Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) is an education research center headquartered at the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania. CPRE’s mission to bridge the gap between educational policy research and education leaders, policy makers, practitioners, and the research community. This position is responsible for supporting the communications and grant managers of CPRE by providing research engagement and fiscal support for grant-funded CPRE projects. The successful candidate will support a range of communications activities to support the communications manager, including maintaining project web pages, enacting social media outreach activities, working on project dissemination activities, as well as other project dissemination tasks. The candidate will also provide project financial support activities which include processing project transactions and reimbursements, handling purchasing cards for project incentives, and processing monthly invoices.

This position is contingent upon continued funding.

A High School Diploma or GED and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. An Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; adaptability, flexibility, initiative, and good judgement; ability to work as a part of a team and independently. High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media, web-based communications; proficiency in Concur a plus; overall high level of computer literacy required. Ability to learn and apply new technologies, as needed. Ability to manage time effectively.
