The School of Education is delighted to offer this Chair/Readership in Education Policy. The new appointment will enable the School of Education to continue to be at the forefront of new initiatives in teaching, research and policy.

This Chair/Readership will bring a distinguished scholar in the field of educational policy to enhance the existing strong national and international links to policy and practice. The appointment of a new senior post holder will provide strategic focus and academic leadership in line with the School’s vision and ambitions and will promote the leadership, growth, research and development of teacher education and professional learning in the School of Education.
