Assistant/Associate Professor, JINDAL SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS (JSIA)

JSIA invites applicants for an Assistant/ Associate Professor in the area of political philosophy. In addition to research endeavors, candidates will be expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels and provide service to the University and Department. The standard teaching load is two courses per semester.
Teaching all levels of undergraduate & graduate Philosophy courses. In addition to teaching responsibilities, successful candidates will be required to make meaningful and substantive service contributions, including attending monthly departmental meetings, advising and mentoring students, and participating in school and university service at the discretion of the department. Willingness to undertake administration, if required, is a plus.
- Doctoral degree in Philosophy (pref. political philosophy)
- Teaching/ research experience, commensurate with the seniority of the position.
- Capacity to teach a wide range of Philosophy courses is needed.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills, commitment to undergraduate education, and some scholarly activity required.
