To manage the coordination, consultation, education and operational activities of quality management and patient safety for all organ transplant programs. To manage staff in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of UAB Medicine and the department. To analyze and report clinical quality and regulatory data and present to executive committees. To serve as a liaison to various external constituents. To manage root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode effect analysis (FMEA). To coordinate QI/PI teams. To work collaboratively with internal departments with regard to quality and patient safety activities. To collaborate in managing United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) interpretation, education and compliance.
Salary Range: $76960 - $126984
Bachelor's degree in Nursing with Master's in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Business or related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
