Job description
Compliance, Governance and Risk -Teaching Quality Assurance and Enhancement (TQAE) 

This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 26 May 2021.

Teaching Quality Assurance and Enhancement consists of Quality and Standards Team, Academic Development Team, Technology Enhanced Learning,Education Projects and Programme Development.  TQAE delivers services across the University through the directorates of Education and Student Support and Compliance, Governance and Risk. 

About the role

There is increased competition in the sector to secure the best students, fuelling the desire to create education programmes in response to perceived market demand. The speed of response to that market provides a competitive advantage in terms of satisfying a need and also creating a reputation for being a student focused and leading-edge University. As part of its education strategy the University is expanding the Programme Development Team to support Colleges with the development of high impact education programmes including postgraduate and undergraduate courses. 

About you 

The post holder should have knowledge of higher education programme development and programme approval processes with proven ability of coordinating full project management services to business case and task and finish activities. The work will cover managing single or multiple programme development projects and strategic programmes to ensure activities are completed on time, on budget, within scope, to the business requirements, and meets quality expectations. You will work alongside two team members to co-ordinate work with Colleges, Education and Student Experience, Communication and Marketing Services, and all aspects of quality assurance to ensure that all activities needed to produce a new programme are completed within the required timescales and that new products are developed for delivery to market on time.
