About the position

Reporting to the IT Program Manager, this position will be responsible for ensuring customer requirements are captured, documented, prioritised and made available for use by end users and technical staff for projects delivered. The new incumbent will also be responsible for capturing and optimising end-to-end business processes for IT projects across the University.  

In addition, the role will support IT Projects throughout all stages, from assisting with system selection activities, documenting information for system configuration and integration requirements, through to supporting User Acceptance Testing and go-live tasks.

About the person:

The successful candidate will have a degree in IT or Information Systems, and/or relevant experience in a similar position. Significant skills with at least 2 years’ experience in business analysis and business process modelling coupled with at least 5 years working in Information Technology is required for this role.

Outstanding ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs is a must, as is the ability to develop appropriate technical solutions that satisfy the needs of the intended end-users. Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with excellent problem-solving skills are essential.

The remuneration for this position will commence at $92,362.63 inclusive of 9.5% superannuation per annum - this may be negotiable based on experience and skills.
