The Role and Your Responsibilities

The School of Vocational Design and Social Context is recognised as a leading provider of programs in Community Services from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma level. Sessional teaching work is available working within a friendly team of professionals at our city campus.

RMIT DSC Vocational Education (VE) are seeking experienced FIRST AID VE teachers who hold the relevant TAE and VE teaching qualifications in HLTAID003 Provide First Aid and teaching experience with industry experience for teaching both Certificate and Diploma students:

  • Certificate IV in Youth Work
  • Alcohol and Other Drugs practise
  • Aged Care practise
  • Disability Work practise

Occasionally other small projects become available which require a high level of VET expertise.

We are seeking expressions of interest from people for work in semester 1 and 2, 2019.

Experienced required

A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) is essential.

Qualification in HLTAID003 Provide First Aid is essential.

Demonstrated experience of teaching in Vocational Education is preferred.

Appointment to a casual teaching position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check.
