Job Description

The College of Fine Arts seeks an Administrative Coordinator for the Performance/Applied and Ensembles departments at the School of Music.This position is responsible for coordinating the financial and administrative aspects of the Performance and Applied Studies area and the Ensembles department. Primary responsibilities include support for the SOM Manager of Student Services, Director of Graduate Studies, and faculty, guest artists and guest lecturers; budgetary and office oversight including graduate assistants and work-study student supervision; interdepartmental and college communication; and website maintenance. Reports to the Manager of Student Services.

Required Skills

B.A./B.M. and one to three years of experience in an academic environment (higher education, school of music or conservatory setting preferred).Familiarity with classical music necessary. Required skills: strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills. Precise attention to detail, and ability to follow complex instructions and work with complicated University systems.
